&Indian Ocean Outbound Workshops

OBJECTIVE
1)To promote OUTBOUND travel from South Africa to AFRICA and Indian Ocean Islands
2) to promote regional tourism within Southern Africa
3) to promote domestic tourism within South Africa

We expect 20 –25 Exhibitors to participate of which 70% will be from Rest of Africa /Indian Ocean and the others fromSouth Africa.
EXPECTED ATTENDANCE (of Buyers)
Approximately 250 South African Business and Leisure Travel Agents,Outbound and Regional Tour Operators,Corporate Travel Planners (Secretaries),Incentive Travel Operators and PCO’s (Professional Conference Organisers) and Travel Press.
WORKSHOP FORMAT
Table top workshop –20 tables. Free Flow (not scheduled appointments or set times at each table). Three x 3 hour sessions with approximately 60-70 buyers per session.

HOW WILL THE WORKSHOPS BE PROMOTED
Invitations will be sent to our specifically targeted databases to over 2000 travel agencies (leisure and corporate),Outbound and Regional Tour Operators;Incentive Travel Operators; Professional Conference organisers and major Corporate Travel accounts.
Banner Adverts will appear regularly on Travelinfo,TIR,Travel Now,SA Conference Directory On Line etc. Frequent reminders will be sent via fax mail,email and telephone follow-ups. All 2000 previous attendees at the 2009 &2010 Spotlight workshops will also be invited.
Exhibitors are encouraged to send out invitations to their top contacts and clients.
HTMS will be forging partnerships with other key industry players to draw new quality visitors in particular corporate and conference buyers to the workshops. HTMS has appointed well known travel sales reps in each centre to contact their key corporate and conference clients and travel trade to invite them to attend.

We have scheduled the Spotlight workshops in Harare Zimbabwe on Monday 16th April to allow East African exhibitors to target this important market while they are down in Southern Africa
PARTICIPATION FEE
SAR10200 plus VAT* = ZAR11628 or USD1650 - total cost for the three days,three sessions.
ZAR6800 plus VAT = ZAR 7752 or USD1100 for Sandton/Rosebank only -two sessions
ZAR3400 plus VAT = ZAR3876 forCape Town only
*VAT must be charged to all Exhibitors as the service is “consumed” inSouth Africa.
COSTS INCLUDE
All workshop venue and catering expenses and extensive marketing campaign;3 light Breakfasts. Full database of all attendees for follow up sales purposes;listing +25 word company description in programme given to each attendee.
NOT INCLUDED
International flights to SA,Domestic flights withinSouth Africa;transport between venues and airport transfers; Hotel accommodation;meals other than specified.
