Tourism business is slowly getting back into gear in East Africa after Uganda National Parks yesterday announced the reopening of parks, although all primate parks like Mgahinga, Bwindi and Kibaale remain closed as do primate tracking activities in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls national parks.
Serena Hotels yesterday also announced the reopening of the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa and now added their Tanzanian properties to it too as per the notice displayed below.
Special offers are available at all the reopening properties though there is no indication that national park fees have been reduced anywhere in East Africa to stimulate demand.
